♦♦ Jewelry care instructions

  • Jewelry with Micron gold/silver plating, Gold Filled or Sterling silver components:
Safe to use in regular water. Please avoid sea or pool water.
Do not use abrasive compounds to clean the jewelry. The easiest way to care for it is to gently scrub it with a soft cloth and a mild dish washing liquid. Rinse it well and lay on a towel to dry.

    • Regular plated components (rarely found in my collection)
Plated parts are not to be used in water or cleaned, with any chemical cleaners. Keeping it in a dry condition will help the gold color last for years.

♦♦ Material Guide

  • Gold Filled
14k gold-filled is a solid layer of 14k gold pressure bonded to a brass base metal. Gold filled jewelry is durable and tarnish resistant, hypoallergenic, and a great quality alternative to solid gold.

    • Sterling Silver
925 Sterling silver is an alloy of silver, which consists of 92.5 percent silver and 7.5 percent copper.
It is a timeless and beautiful premium quality metal. A durable option for everyday wear and even if it tarnishes over time, using a polishing cloth will bring back the shine.

    • Gold/Silver Micron Plating
At least 1 micron (2-4 Micron in our case) of gold onto brass or sterling silver. This kind of plating is durable, safe to use in regular water and provides a long lasting finish that will last for years.
